Remote Line Management Modular Programme
THE CLIENT
Valtech UK design, build and deliver transformative digital solutions for worldwide known brands. One of their latest innovations includes the Remote Line Management Modular Programme, a strategic initiative that enhances digital transformation.
THE BRIEF
Valtech UK are committed to creating a better future every day for their employees, global consumers, partners, and communities. They are interested in every individual and the talent they have. Following a company restructure, Alison Crowley, HR Director US & UK was looking for a training provider. The aim was to develop a modular programme focused on Remote Line Management.
Some managers were extremely experienced in people managing, some were very experienced in business but not in managing people, and some were newer to both business and managing. Valtech needed training to achieve consistency of approach amongst new and existing Line Managers. This was especially important given the remote management capabilities offered by the programme.
That is why Valtech partnered with Impact Factory to implement their programme effectively.

Our Tailored Solution for Valtech
Bite-sized modular training commenced in 2021 with modules on Coaching Skills, Difficult Conversations, Conflict, Motivation, and Delivering Meaningful Feedback. All these modules are integral parts of the programme aimed at remote line management.
The training brought everyone to a common understanding of what it means to motivate, manage performance, support and develop their teams. It equipped all Line Managers with the tools needed to move people and business forward effectively. The programme catered to the unique needs of remote management.
In January 2022, Catherine Monaghan, People Experience & Development Lead at Valtech, organised another roll-out of the modules. The cohort this year was made up of new line managers, and line managers who didn’t complete the modules the previous year. It also included potential future line managers who made up one-third of the cohort.
Additionally, a Coaching module was added to the programme to further enhance the capabilities of managers in remote settings.
This was part of the ongoing Remote Line Management Modular initiative. At the Valtech Annual Awards in 2022, Rajvinder Janra: Service Delivery Lead, was runner-up for Line Manager of the Year.
