Inclusivity Mindset Pilot Programme
Background and Objectives
While Resonate Group has strong recruitment practices and a diverse workforce, the client wanted to shift the focus from diversity alone to deeper inclusion and belonging.
Key Goals Included:
- Strengthening the connection between inclusion and everyday culture and fostering a stronger sense of belonging
- Empowering staff to speak up and contribute
- Gaining input into revisiting Resonate’s cultural values
- Addressing hybrid working challenges, especially the lack of connection between teams and remote office experiences
The sessions also needed to capture what the company is already doing well and identify opportunities for greater cross-team cohesion and engagement, ensuring everyone feels included and a sense of belonging.
Programme Overview
Impact Factory facilitators delivered two high-energy, reflective, and interactive sessions — one for each division — using both structured tools and informal activities to help participants connect, speak openly, and generate ideas.
We turned the office spaces into workshop zones, making use of cleared-out rooms and collaborative breakout areas. The approach combined creativity, light-hearted team-building, and deeper discussions around inclusion, belonging, and the everyday behaviours that support both.
The Sessions Followed Three Arcs:
- Connection – Encouraging interpersonal rapport and finding common ground
- Inclusion in Action – Reflecting on real experiences and inclusive behaviours
- Shaping the Future – Collaboratively reimagining the future workplace culture with a focus on belonging
Key Content Areas

“Both groups really enjoyed coming together and finding out more about each other. They were warm, friendly, and generous – all things they say Resonate does well. What stood out most was their quiet but strong desire to feel more connected — to their work, to each other, and to the organisation’s direction.
It was clear they want to stay, to grow, and to feel heard. This session gave them the platform to express that.”
“The Inclusive Behaviours session was a real eye-opener. It reminded us that while diversity is essential, it’s inclusion that truly brings it to life. Themes of empathy, laughter, and the power of friendships and camaraderie came through strongly — it’s clear that when people feel welcome, valued, and heard, teams thrive.
The biggest takeaway? We all play a part in making this a safe and inclusive place to work. Whether it’s listening more, making space for others to contribute, or creating shared goals — small changes make a big difference. Inclusion isn’t a box-tick; it’s a daily choice.”
