Building Resilience Programme
Background & Objectives
Impact Factory has proudly collaborated with NESTA since 2015 to provide impactful solutions. This partnership is dedicated to equipping individuals and organisations with the tools they need to thrive in the face of challenges. In July 2024, NESTA invited us to deliver a half-day Building Resilience Programme.
The workshop was aimed at colleagues navigating change, pressure, and high performance.
In a demanding working environment, the training aimed to create a reflective and practical space in which to explore what resilience means both personally and collectively. The workshop also aimed to provide strategies for responding to stress in ways that support well-being, choice, and balance.
Programme Overview
The session created space for participants to explore their own relationship with resilience. They looked at what it means to them, how it shows up under pressure, and what minor adjustments can help them remain grounded and effective.
Delivered in an open and supportive environment, the session allowed for thoughtful discussion and personal reflection. There was an emphasis on the idea of confident vulnerability — the strength that comes from being honest, human, and real. This approach is central to training programmes focused on building resilience effectively.
Participants were invited to reflect on how they respond to stress. They examined the difference between reacting and responding. Additionally, they considered the small choices that can shape more helpful, thoughtful patterns of behaviour.
They explored how personal narratives can either limit or empower them. Building resilience training encourages participants to consider ways to reframe internal dialogue in the face of pressure. Or in the face of challenge.
