Stress Awareness

Background and Objective

In light of Stress Awareness, it’s essential to understand the impact stress has on our well-being and the importance of addressing it. Participating in Stress Awareness training can be a valuable step toward managing stress more effectively through structured learning and support.

In recent years, Stress Awareness training has become increasingly important as people recognise its potential impact on health and well-being.

Programme Overview

This interactive 45-minute bite-sized training, known as Stress Awareness training, was delivered via Zoom and designed to encourage active participation and self-reflection. Key topics included:

  • Understanding the value of pressure and the risks of excessive stress.
  • Developing awareness of personal stress signals and recognising distress in others.
  • Exploring practical strategies to reduce or eliminate unnecessary pressure.
  • Sharing experiences of working under pressure—both successful and challenging.
  • Discussing approaches to manage others’ reactions to stress effectively within Stress Awareness training.

Participants were encouraged to prepare by reflecting on their own experiences of stress and how they managed or struggled with it both in themselves and others. The session included practical exercises and group discussions aimed at enhancing understanding.

Desired Outcomes

  • Improved individual awareness of stress triggers and responses enhanced through Stress Awareness training.
  • Enhanced ability to recognise stress in colleagues and provide support.
  • Practical tools and mindset shifts to manage and reduce stress.
  • Ongoing access to facilitators and resources for continued stress management support.
